My wife is a member of the Green Hills 3-chome Neighborhood Council, and she attends a couple of meetings a month at the community center. They decided to hold a Bon-odori dance at the upcoming local summer festival. Immediately, they borrowed the community center's Japanese-style auditorium and began practicing the Bon-odori dance. However, unlike their usual demure casual attire, they wore dark-colored ponytails that exposed the back of their necks, which were vaguely visible through their light and cool yukata.
